I have a 115hp 4stroke on my 2015 Triton 18TX that I bought in December 2015. My boat is 18'8" long and has a 92" beam. I'm running a 22 pitch Laser2 prop and the boat tops out at about 48mph on a good day.

I live on Kentucky Lake and am retired so I usually have the the boat out at least a couple times a week. So far the motor has performed flawlessly for the past year and I haven't done anything to it but an oil and gear lube change.

The 2015 115hp Mercurys were redesigned and is quite a bit different from the previous model. I've been told the new model is based on the 150hp that's around for a while and it's now a 2.1 liter compared to the older 1.7 liter model. The new model is also available with a Command Thrust gear case that has a lower gear ratio that can run a bigger prop than the standard lower unit.

I bought a 2017 Merc 60 hp 4 stroke last summer, that thing is great...easy on fuel and starts every time. I know guys who have Merc 4 strokes since the mid 90's and the are still going strong.

I've got one on my 2015 RT188 with a 20 Lasor11 cup added prop. I run 48-51mph myself. You can't hear it running at idle. Starts just like my new truck, no oil, bulb pumping or choke. I love it

Have 2013 30hp mercury 4 stroke. Works like a champion every time. Would buy another Mercury 4 stroke in a heartbeat!

I have a 2015 Merc 115 on my Lowe 195 and love it. It is so quiet that sometimes I forget to turn it off. Great on gas as well. Starts on the first bump.

I have a 2015 Mercury 115 fourstroke, and it's been great, no problems what so ever, amazing how quite the engine is, and seems to get great gas milage. Have around 20 hours on engine
