    Default Minn Kota Terrova Repair

Dropped TM head when deploying and it slammed down and knocked a chunk out of the output tube. (Item 415) this is the part the depth collar engages into to turn shaft. Anyone replaced one? Curious how hard it is to do.

Dont know on the terrova but on a PD it broke an ear off the pivot pin and I had to by the whole gear box. If it has the same part # as the PD i think I still have the old box.

Not hard to do if you have the part..... see installing transducer on terrova video on stickey in electronics forum. Or for step-by step see U tube video:

It is easy to do. I have had to replace my transducer a couple of times, and you have to take that part off everytime I do it.

That isnt the part you guys are thinking about. The part he broke is in the gear box. You have to take the gear box apart to change it. plus remove the shaft.
