Does it use the same pump for filling and aerating? If no then you probably have a bad aerating pump. If yes then when in the aerating position it should go thru a timer and it could be bad.
Gentlemen: I have a question regarding my front live well on an older Lund 1675 Explorer alluminum boat. The live well works off a rocker switch that is mounted on my dash. The switch has 3 positions with middle being off, bottom is fill , while up is aerate. Fill works as it should, however when I switch to aerate all I get is a clicking noise and no live well aeration. Battery reads 13.1v on my sonar and took it to wal mart to have it verified to be good and also cleaned the connections on my battery. If anyone has an idea would certainly appreciate the help. Thanks Marky

Bill, I am not sure how many pumps there are but the livewell does not have a timer on it.Its either on or off depending on the switch position. Ill try and get my head in the well tomorrow and see whats there. If I remember right the aerator is a round device about as big around as a beer bottle but I have never had a problem so reckon didnt pay enough attention. It clicks like a dead battery in a vehicle back in the day. Thanks Marky
I have been out trying to figure out what my problem is and noticed that the bilge pump is not making any noise so figuring the problems are related. Did a google search and it was suggested to check the ground bar for corrosion. I am not mechanically inclined and do not know how the system works nor where the ground bar is located. Marine mechanic is 75 miles away near Omaha. Trying to figure why the live well will fill but not recirculate nor bilge not working. Marky
