    Default Fuel problem?

1999 merc 50 elpto 2 stroke. Primer bulb losing prime at low speed. After running at say 3000 rpm for awhile engine will start to die and you have to pump bulb to keep it going. Runs fine at higher rpms. Has new blue fuel line, bulb and fitting. Checked for lose connections. What else should I look for?

I am guessing fuel pump not pumping right at lower rpms.

Do you have the fuel direction (arrow towards motor) correct?

Found my fuel problem! Cracked fuel line between the inline filter and top carburetor. Now the fun starts. Can barely see the line where it connects to carburetor.

Glad to hear you found the cause. Probably should remove the carbs andreplace all the fuel lines. If one is bad the others are not far behind as a general rule. I recommend taking several pictures Before and during dis-assembly, especially of the linkage positions.
    Good luck on the repairs
