    Default Propeller selection...............

I have a 115 Mercury and it has a 3 blade aluminum prop that i bent.

Looking on line there are several brands and options for my year motor, aluminum, stainless steel, 3 blade, 4 blade, diameter, pitch, etc...

So which propeller will give good overall boat performance, the motor is on a 19' War Eagle boat.

    Thx
    Wade

I have 3 blade 19 pitch aluminum on my 115 yamaha...runs great! Had a 21 pitch when I bought it used...broke that prop on a stump! ...best thing ever! The hole shot was terrible with a 21. Remember where your running...$150 prop or $2000 lower unit...I'll keep running aluminum!

There are a lot of variables when it comes to propping a boat motor set up. Was it mine and I was satisfied with how it performed with existing prop, I would go with same size in stainless and raise motor one bolt hole on transom. Should get you better hole shot and little bit of top end speed.
