Gander Mountain has the ProMariner on board chargers for 25% off. I got the ProSport 20 plus 3 bank today for $149.99.
it is the September managers special.

I've had a dual pro and a ProMariner and like them both. ProMariner actually makes the BPS model as well as the Cabela's model. They are both cheaper in price than the ProMariner... UNLESS, you buy them from Brian at BBG. Then you might as well pay the same money for the name brand.

On my new boat I have the ProSport20 Plus by ProMariner. It is a 3 bank, 20 amp charger and is what they call "Fully Distributed or, Distributed on demand". In other words, if one battery is charged, it will only supply a minimum amount of volts to sustain that battery and utilize the reaming volts to spread across the other two banks.

Another key to look for is IF the charger will charge ALL types of batteries. Standard flooded (lead acid, or AGM sealed), Gel Cell, or AGM high performance. If it doesn't, you will be stuck purchasing the same type of batteries all the time. I prefer AGM batteries as they don't discharge and you cannot over charge them.

One other thing to look at. Prepare for upgrades. You might only run one starting battery and one TM battery now however you might want to upgrade to a 24v system later. Make sure the charger you purchase can effectively handle a 24v system.

I don't know about the others but ProMariner has a 2 year warranty on it.

I have a dual pro. I got it on my 97 Champion, had it rebuilt once for free and it is still going strong (knock on wood). Lifetime guarantee.
