Default made me a outboard motor, Briggs/Evenrude

mounted a new Briggs & Stratton 6hp, 4-stroke on a 60 yr old Evenrude lower unit.
works like a charm. been running it 6 days a week for the last 2 months.
it has electric start, air cooled, and a charging system. great on gas too.
oh, and a 2 yr warranty.

    juust thought i would share.

You call yourself naturenut but you might just be an innovator too. Might ought to get a patent on that. Cool looking unit for sure.

That's neat. How loud is it compared to a 2 cycle air cooled?

it's pretty quiet. i did just put that little header pipe on, to direction the noise out the back. it was coming out the side of the muffler.
    that helped alot.
i'm thinking about running the exhaust out under water next.

i made this longet tiller handle for it, since my seat is a little forward. i can remove the handle when i'm using the trolling motor.
also made a electric anchor winch, and anchor bracket. i power it with my 18v cordless drill. it comes up super fast.
the round disk on the winch, is my disc brake. light pressure with two fingers controls the speed of the anchor as it's going down.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
