Man, that is one heck of a platform to start with that is for sure. I think I would put in a few sections of closed cell foam just for floatation but other than that, the sky is the limit on this boat.

I would go with a plastic tank. No reason other than they are easy to work on, get parts for and so on.

Guys I've hit a major motherload. I have a mowing company and one of my clients I do alot if side work for also. I was do a snow removal job over the weekend and noticed an older runabout that I knew that had from mowing there but never caught my eye. Well it did this time and noticed it had a 90 hp evinrude. Well the Ole noggin started turning some wheels and I sent her a text asking how much and she said since I'm so helpful and such that I could just have it.........SAY WHAT?!?!? I offered agsin to pay but she refused so hopefully beginning if next week I can find time to go pick it up. Then next found Ole boy to put power tilt/trim on for 300$!!!!!!!! Everybody stand back lightning is about to strike lol

Irvin, got a question. With that angle layed like it is how is your floor going to drain? I don't see any drain holes. If you put foam between the ribs it could end up just sitting in water.

The angle running the width of the boat has holes drilled through to let water filter to the back. If that's what your talking about. Hopefully won't be any water in there lol

That's what I was talking about. Looked and looked but couldn't see it in the pictures. Tired ole eyes. It will get in there eventually. Maybe not much and hopefully very little. That's going to be a awesome boat when you finish.
