    Default Dad gum trailer lights


    My brake lights kept blowing so I called the trailer manufater sent me LEDs for the rear lights. I installed them now the running light are blowing a fuse. Brake lights and linkers work fine...... Any ideas???

    Sounds like you got a short somewhere if you are blowing fuses. I got tired of chasing mine all over the place so I replaced all the wiring, housing and lights (LEDs) Seems to work fine now. I had a short way up inside the channel of the trailer. How or why the wire rubbed off the insulation is a mystery to me, there is nothing in the channel except the wire!

    A bad ground can cause that.

    Bawhahaha had a shorted bulb under. Transom saver I didn't see. Easy fix
