My little 4 stroke 9.8 hp Nissan long shaft,ele. start , runs great and starts easyjust have to use the choke for the first 10 of run til it warms up I am very happy with it and the price was great hundreds cheaper than merc etc. In 2008 I had a 6 hp one cylinder merc which was a hard starter and could not move the boat so after looking around I sold the 6hp merc and ordered my 9.8 nissan from the cheapest place I could find that being Port-a-boat in Calfornia-cost me $1650 for long shaft & elect start with a charging system in motor. No sales tax and free freight by truck(3 1/2 days) to my door. I was told port-a-boat was this cheap cause they get them by the sea container full from factory and store at there whse, when u order they take one box out of container & ship it right to you,never having to even open box up cause it was packed at factory. I would/will buy from them again if needed, jut great people to deal with and have all the prices posted on their web site so what you see is what you get. jax
