Default Long bunk guides or short guides.

Ok i have a 1984 Astroglassbass boat. Im wanting to replace my roller guide ons with bunk guides. Im assuming i want the 5' ones. So, when i load boat my transom won't swing over my fender wells. The roller guides on back of my boat are useless to me as they really don't do nothing to help in loading boat on trailer. Any ideas as to what to use or go with. Thanks.

That's what I would use. You need something that is adjustable both up and down and in and out. Top of board needs to be about half way up the hull on a flat part. I like them in until you have about 1/2 in clearance at the wides point of hull that will pass between them.
