    Default power trim trouble

2005 Yamaha 150 Vmax with hydraulic steering. This just started the other day and I can't trace it down. While running if the motor is straight or the wheel is turned to the left my blinker switch or the switch on the shifter won't trim up. Turn the wheel to the right and everything works. Visually checked the wiring but didn't have a tester. The switch on the motor works every time. Anybody have any ideas what I should look for?

Need a meter. But I would remove blinker switch and check the contacts and wiring from there to where it connects to the wiring for switch on throttle control.

Thanks Cray! I'm not too much on electrical troubleshooting but I'll try looking into it.

Check the wiring at the switch. Don't just look at it, use some needle nose and pull on it just a little. I have found them to "look like" they were still connected but wasn't.

Check the wiring at the motor where the bullet connections connect the harnesses. Sounds like when the motor turns it is disconnecting the blue/white wire.
