    Default Trailer bearings

Help please, Im am looking for some info on a 2002 rivertrail trailer . How can I tell the right size axle and bearings without taking it completely apart before getting parts ? It is a trailer for a 18 ft Lakesport.

Pop them apart and get your measurement then put them back together until you get your parts. Should only take about 15 min and if your good only minimal mess on your hands.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Take them apart, read the numbers on the bearings and seal and go buy them at the nearest parts store.
Or mike the axle and hub ID and match it up.

Pop the bearing cover off and measure the spindle at the threads. Put the cover back on. Done. Unless you have a tapered spindle, then measure where it necks up to the bearing ID.

Thanks, I ended up taking one hub off cleaning it and took it to a trailer place . Matched it and bought 2 packed with grease and now back on the road. I was just trying to save a few bucks ordering online but didn't want to be without my boat that long.

Yes I just bought 2 while hub kits that had everything at B&B trailers in Gonzales La. All I had to do is put them on and go.
