Thread: Yamaha 50 2 stroke carburetor ???????

You can't to my knowledge buddy. That's why I suggested buying some from tohatsu and swapping them out. Yamaha presets there's factory.

As far as the carb adjustment srews my carbs have a brass looking cap over them that I can't remove to get to the screws. If they were Merc carbs I could tell you how to remove the plugs. But I've never worked on Yamaha carbs (except motorcycles) and I don't want to mess you up. Bottom line is if you remove them you will have to put new ones in but don't put them in until you are sure the jets are adjusted properly. BTW the motor will run just fine without the plugs. At least Mercs will.
