Thread: what the heck about those transducers

1. Hey I know I'm slow but can't find even a # on some of my transducers, how do I know what to use. My wires aren't exposes so it's a pain everytime I up date fish finds I change transducers but do I have to. I'm not talking about the high or even middle of the road dollar stuff I'm talking lower dollar goodies. Like humminbird max20,561,525. I have transducer in boxes that I don't have a clue about but they appear in good shape. Is there a way to test them out of water?
