Default Should I get this motor???

Been looking for a good outboard for a while now....and came across this 6hp Johnson. It's a 1999 I believe. He says it runs good and the only thing wrong with it is that it won't stay in the "up" position. He's asking $375. I live 2 hours away and wondering if it is worth the risk. Anyone know anything about these?Name: 3E43I73p75N85Ld5F3d293c86a16f414b1c65.jpg

Willy that's hard to say. Just like you looking at pictures you can't tell how it runs. If it won't stay up something is broken, might be inexpensive fix but pictures tell me that motor has been treated pretty rough. That's going to be up to you to decide but I would just keep looking. There are deals out there just take your time.

Yep, strmwalker is right there are missing parts on the trim bracket, and these would be parts that normally never go missing, I would keep looking if it were me.

Thanks for the advice. I have found one that is in much better shape, even though it is older. I'm going to pick it up Saturday
