If you have a groove and cant find a sleeve you can put the seal in at a different depth so it rides on a new spot on the spindle. Simplist way is to cut a piece of non corrugated cardboard about 0.060in. with a hole in it so it fits over the O.D. of the seal. Start the seal in the bore and place the cardboard over the seal onto the hub surface. Then take a flat plate of steel or aluminum and drive the seal in till the plate bottums on the cardboard. That will put the seal the thickness of the cardboard out which will make it ride on a new spot on the spindle.
