    Default Alarm going off??


    Everything was fine last time out about 4 weeks ago. Went to the lake today launched the boat went to start & alarm was going off just a solid horn buzzing. 2002 Yamaha 90 hp. 2 stroke water coming out pee hole oil tank about 3/4 full. Then it just stopped & we went fishing ran good the rest of the day.Any ideas on what it might be. Jim C.

    My Merc did that last year, low oil alarm, oil wasn't low. I think the sensor burned out, it's been fine ever since...

    Float sensor in oil tank could have gotten hung up.
