I have a 2007 Xpress HD20SC. I am upgrading from a 07 Merc 90 2 stroke to a rebuilt 2001 Merc 150 XR6. I have a 6 inch jackplate. I have two questions

1. The new motor comes with a choice of used alum props that I will use as a general purpose starter prop that I can use to get baseline performance numbers to aid in specing out a stainless perfromance prop after I complete break in. This starter prop will then get thrown in the boat as a spare eventually. The choices are a 13.75x21 mercruiser or a 14.5x19 michigan wheel vortex? Which is best?

2. THe guy who sold me a Power tech semi cleaver for the old 90 (which ran great 42 mph gps) is telling me the HD needs a stern lifting prop (semi cleaver). I think I trust him becuase it worked so well with the 90. But Power tech and several other Mercury guys have told spec'd a bowlifting props like the tr04 and trophy plus in the 21 to 23 range or the tempest in a 3 balde? What are your thoughts?
