    Default nitro 750 dc

I might look at a 2008 nitro 750 dc with a mercury 90 hp on it, what would you expect from this rig for speed? 40 to 45 mph?

It will depend on how many people and how much weight you have in it.

My 16' single console Procraft w/90 merc "says" it's going around 50mph full load/wot (haven't GPS'd the speed, though, just going by the speedo). Full load is 400lbs of people, full tank of gas, full livewell (water only), & fishing equipment for two.
I'm running a Stilleto SS prop, too. 90HP is the max for my boat.

Like you, I would "expect" around the 40-45mph range ... but, it would depend on factors other than the hp of the motor. The Nitro 750dc is rated for 135hp.

Then again ... check out what these guys say : Nitro and Tracker Owners Web Site

Best scenario would be to take a test drive in it ... but, I wouldn't pay all that much attention to the speedo reading, as they are generally inaccurate. If it really means that much, to know the top end speed, then you'd best check it by GPS.

    ... cp
