i would go to lowes and ask to see the new type water lines they are putting in homes now. they say it will not burst when it freezes so it would be much tougher than regular hose. my friend put it in his new house and it seems stiff enough to "push" where ever you need to push it.

you know i didn't look to see how they connected it to fittings. lowes would know. really any good hose would work and probably be easier to work with and not knowing what you are talking about "ports" i don't know. you talking about holes from the water side of the transom into the boat?

i'd bet you are leaking around the plug hole or the hole that drains the livewell. i would take the best silicone i could find and dry the area about both inside and out and silicone both inside around the openings and the outside on the transom. if it's not there then a line is busted somewhere.

before you pull the old hose out, attach a heavy cord to it, then use the cord to pull the new hose into place........good luck!!

if you remove the drain hose make sure that you disable the water pump! If it got turned on by accident you'd have a boat full of water with no place to go except in the bilge

I'd bet when you disable the front livewell your leaking will stop. About 90% of the time it's the culprit.
