Are you using two batteries for your trolling motor?

Is your tm 12 or 24 volt and how are you wiring your batteries together?

The only thing that should be on the trolling motor battery is the trolling motor. Everything else should be on the starting battery.

    lil re-speck,

This should be fairly easy to isolate. I would suggest turning off the locators and disconnecting the trolling motor. Then recharge the batteries using your manual charger. Let it set for a while to see if it runs down. Assuming it doesn't, I would suggest reconnecting the trolling motor to see if it is draining the battery. If by chance you have an amp meter you could connect it in line between the battery and the load, stuff connected to the battery, and see if there is any current being drawn.

This might not apply. Yesterday I put the charger on my starting battery, it read 13.1 amps, but only 20% charged. I left it on the charger all night and it was 100% this morning. I mess around a lot when were fishing, so I don't run the gas motor fast enough or long enough to keep it full charge. Not sure if that helps anyone or not?

It sounds exactly like your battery isn't being charged.

I can't find any charger with a number like that. Does it have lights, and are they on?

thanks guys the charger is a cabelas pro sport 8 when hooked up the lights are on red when supposedly fully charged the lights do go green.when i bought the boat 4 yrs ago it was set up the way that it is and i never had any issues...until i decided to mount that on board charger.however to check i will hook the fish finders and other acessories to the starting batt and charge the batts again go fishing and see if it works.also the reason i hooked the fish finder to the deep cycle is thers a feature that monitors the batt voltageand tells me if the batt volts goes lowerthan 10.5v

I'd verify the voltage at each battery's terminals while the charger is on. You should see 13-15V when the charger is on.
