Get it at a marine place. Replacing the line isn't very difficult. Measure the length you need and see what diameter it is. I'd recommend you just by an OEM fuel line and primer assembly.
Is a fuel line for an outboard motor available at auto stores or do you have to get them from a marine dealer. Also is replacing one for a larger motor like a 225 hp johnson something that anyone can do? What about replacing the fuel filter is that difficult? Thank you for your thoughts.

Its not hard to do, but you have to get the right line. I actually took the old line in to a NAPA and they had some that worked, but they used the old line to match it up. Good luck, but it wasn't hard at all. If you can take it off, you can put it on!
I've heard auto grade fuel lines work good for outboards, but have no firsthand knowledge. I second what Catfan said and get OEM replacement parts (fuel line, primer, and fittings). DO NOT get the seasense or generic brand like wally world an academy carry. The fittings prob won't seal properly. Get OEM and don't worry about it.
