Seafoam or Marine StaBil

I use a product called Gas Shock. It was what my dealer said to use if I used anything. It only takes about 1/2 oz. to a tank of gas. And a bottle does a lot of gallons. I found some gas with no ethanol, it's $4.25 a gallon, and it's 90 Oct. motor runs good on it, but it's a little pricy.

that is what my mechanic told me years ago . i have a1979 55 hp evinrude and for the lkast 10 years i have not run additives or run the gass out when storing . never set longer than a couple of monts with out runing it .bought it it had ben setting for atleast 5 years . crank and ran great untill i had to replace the fuel pump becouse of a hole in the diafram .

I use stabil. I really wish they would stop putting all this crap in our gas. They put additives in,then we have to by another product to make the gas last for more than two weeks.
