Thread: Engine swap question

I have had 2 strokes all of my life until February of this year. I bought a 115 4 stroke Suzuki and after using it through this year. I will never go back to 2 strkes. If you were setting up a racing boat things might be different. 4 stroke and never look back.

I would go 75hp if your boat is rated for it though. Always try to max out if possible. Better to have the extra power and not need it..than need it and not have it. Just my opinion. Good luck!!

What he said. Underpowered boats are a pain that you always hate yourself for. If it was me I would buy new if possible for the warranty. Repairs are pricey. Please don't ask how I know.
