I'm impressed.
This is my bulk minnow baitwell system. I used 110v aquarium aerators powered by an AC/DC inverter which allows me to plug my aerators into 110v when I'm not fishing. One aerator supplies air to the bulk tank shown. The other aerator supplies air to the minnow bucket that I use at the front of the boat while spider riggin. I used 1/8 inch vinyl tubing from that aerator to the front minnow bucket run along the underside of my boat gunnel.

I found this site today looking for replacement livewells: Greatlakesskipper.com
Good thread. Just ordered livewell repair kits from Flowrite Controls. Might as well replace the innards on both valves while I'm at it.
I finally figured out how to apply the link. So here it is..http://greatlakesskipper.com/product...vewell&x=0&y=0

Quick, someone teach me how to fish so I can win this tournament!!!
I was wondering if anyone knew how to insulate a live well. I have a war eagle center consoule with the live well built on it, but it is not insulated. so when warmer weather gets here i cant keep the fish alive. i tried putting ice in but once temps reach the 90s its like a boiler more so than a live well
chuckauton has a system that pumps water through his live well . it is set on a timer that comes on at different times and . . he has a center console boat
retired and now i will always fish
I've had a problem with the livewell pump ever since the boat was new. I've taken it in but of course they never have a problem with it. The problem is that it doesn't always pump and it is inconsistant when this happens. One day it works flawlessly, next day it's inconsistant. The impression I have is that it loses it's prime and will not reprime itself. The switch has a manual and an automatic setting, it is irrelevant where it is set as to wether it works or not. Sometimes it can be turned off and then back on and it works, other times it makes no difference what I do. Sometimes backing up helps other times no. Sometimes I put it on auto and it takes off on it's own 15 min to an hour later. Any suggestion about what's going on. I'm considering changing the pump but don't want to do that if thats not the problem.
Just a fool fishin
Does your intake have a screen on it?? The Rangers I've had in the past do. If this is the case there maybe something that has become lodged in the tube. If there is a screen take it off and look in it. Maybe back flush it also. Just some thoughts.
