Default Removing front minnow bucket fom War Eagle?

Anybody ever do this? I don't use the built in minnow bucket, so I want to replace it with a storage compartment for other stuff. Predator.

My front live well has a valve to cut off recirculation, yours might have something similar. Once the water's off, options are many. Wondering if you plan on removing it entirely or just as is. I don't use my tiny front well for anything but markers and such. Transferring fish is a pain and it's too small to keep em alive. Death sentence for any fish put in there. You do most everything properly and have good ideas so I'm sure you'll get it fixed quick.

I need to totally remove the bait well to make room for a battery and some electronics that I wag around in wooden boxes. Metal work ain't my bag.

    Default I called War Eagle

I talked to Nick. He said it is not too hard to do.

    1. disconnect power wiring from the minnow bucket pump switch and tape off.

    2. remove the screws from the front deck and lift out (don't remove black trim).

    3. remove plumbing and screws to the bucket insert and lift out.

    4. plug off plumbing.

    5. use the bucket insert as a template for size and mounting dimensions.

    6. he recommends not making the new insert larger than the bucket insert.

    7. They will custom make you a new predator with storage, not minnow bucket.

I will take mine apart and take a look as soon as it cools off a little.
