anything that yall think or have an oppion about feel free to say need some input please thanks and i took this video with my cell phone so sorry about the quality of the video
ok got a problem with my lower end unit i think, here is my story went to the lake on the 8 may 2010 and was trying to go up the river and ended up going the wrong way and got up in some pretty shallow stuff and i kept a watchfull eye out for the engine stirring up mud so i had my engine raised up fairly high (2006 mecury 50 hp 2 stroke efi outboard ) well i was messing around and i noticed that my engine self lowered its self back in to the water well that concerned me a little and so i shut off the engine and as the engine shut down it sounded like i threw a bearing or something and then when i got home i took some video you might want to turn your volume to hear the clicking when i rotate the prop my hand the motor is in nutrual and also i had just put a new prop back on it the night before and went from a 14 degree pitch to a 13 degree pitch

What you are hearing is normal. The clutch dog is what moves to engage forward or reverse gears that are in firm contact with the pinion gear at all times.
The clutch dog is ramped and what you are hearing is the toothed ramps on the clutch dog popping on the face of the forward and/or reverse gear.
Quit complaining about the color, just pull up your skirt and fish! -- snagged
but ive never noticed it before is it possible that its just not all the way out of gear and thats whats causing that noise? but if thats normal thats good to know had me worried

Put the flush ears on it and start it up. Put it in and out of gear and see how it does. I'm not hearing anything to concern me in that video.

Sounds normal to me as well. It may be something that you have just never paid any attention to until now.
Guys you need to go out and put your motor in neutral and turn the prop. No Sound, Then put it in gear you will hear this sound. You are telling him wrong. When the motor is in neutral there should not be a sound the prop should spin free no sound at all. But when the motor is in gear you will here that sound your motor is making. You may need to adjust the shift linkage or have it done if you don't know how to do it. If it is not adjusted right it will damage the clutch dog.
