Before the season gets goin really well ....I intend to do a decarb on my '94 Johnson....and I'm planning on removing the VRO...
Would it be a good idea to do the decarb before I unhook the VRO....??
Or... go ahead and unhook the VRO....premix oil and seafoam in a small container of gas ....to do both at the same time....??

I have owned several Johnson's with VRO. I have ALWAY'S had them removed. I know several people who have run them for years with no trouble, but for me it's not worth the risk. I don't mind mixing the oil manually as it is pretty easy and quick. I currently own a 1997 115 h.p Intruder and a 1997 90 h.p.SLE (comes without VRO) both are set up for premix only.
