    Question Tiller Motor Extension Handles

    Hello and Happy New Year.
Looks like I'll be using My bow mount tiller steer motor guide again this year at least for a while. I had a home made extension handle made from an aluminum antenna rod and hose clamp. It worked on the 14' boat. I now have a 16' Duracraft. I need a better extension handle. I was hoping some of you have tried the better ones and could tell me what you think.
What about the HelmsMate premium Jointed Model is adjustable from 36" to 53" with a jointed extension handle and an all-metal joint.
Another is the Weston Gear Universal Boat Motor Tiller Extension Handle.
Is the u-joint stiff and hold the handle up or s it loose and lets the handle flop?
    Thanks
    Fin

I use a Minn Kota extension on my bow mount.it's an Edge 55- 52" composite shaft and had never in any way had any problem with it.Been using it now for 2 years.

I use a bow mounted hand control TM on my bass boat and for the last several years I have used the Pro Kon Troll handle. Once you get used to the push/pull steering you'll see the advantage of using it. It really gives you 360 degree control of your trolling motor.
