Are you talking about the diaphram? What motor? Normally they are real easy to rebuild and you get everything you need with a kit for about $20. If its a Merc, be sure to replace the check valves too.
Anyone ever change one out and do you need to remove the rubber tube going to it or is easier to change the gasket with it off

1998 90hp merc. Just replacing the gasket. Think I have it whipped. Just having a hard time getting it back together do to clumsy fingers, big hands and tired eyes. Get back on it tomorrow when I have better light. Other than springing a leak it's working fine.
Update--Mission accomplished! Feels good to save money!

Will need a kit from merc has every thing in it just make sure u break the pins so u can push down the check valves into th hole . They put arrows to line everything up .![]()
