I learned something this morning 9-16-18
If you remember my post I said big bass are hitting my crappie when I wind them in sometimes. After I caught my limit of crappie, I got my bass rod out and I put a fresh live crappie on on a circle hook. I live lined it with no weight, just like I use to do with stripers/rock fish. It worked, I caught this, I guess it is 5 lb. or close to it. Had the circle hook in side of mouth. I am glad no one was around watching me on my belly trying to grab the bass. It gave me a fit trying to land it. Great day in my opinion. Back home at 9:30 am. I took a few pictures of same fish.
