    Henry,

Caught a bunch before it iced up. Was thinking about making a ice fishing trip this weekend, but the temperatures are going up all week. I guess it's back to making some lures.

Mike, Whats up! its good to hear that you caught some already. maybe in a few weeks I may try some fishing. I have a need to cast a line. you should post some pictures of your lures. I like how people can be creative and make their own. thanks for your response bud!

I was catching some from shore at Marshy Hope right before it froze up. Got about 5" of ice now. You probably could catch some there ice fishing, but I got too old for that anymore. Here is some I caught a week before Christmas.Name: 12-18-17.JPG

Anyone fishing the spillways in Md. or Delaware? I know they are catching crappie ice fishing Broad Creek off of Conawingo Lake.

    Henry,

Just did some glow plastics for the ice. I need to make some ice jigs today. Here's a pic of a small area I caught some perch in before the ice closed it out and a limit of crappie from the week before.

crappie this time of year??? I thought they were only found when mating? here in the city they are only found around mid April and on well at least thats all I know. I see you you have a calling for em eh? crappie is actually my favorite freshwater fish to catch!!! great pictures bud, and man I'm impressed with your jigs. you've been doing it for a while I see. I like the attention to detail on the ice jigs. I wouldn't purchase jigs anymore if I knew how!!! Good stuff mike. may crappie up just a bit up north to me... ill have to adventure up north soon.
