    Default Finally started getting out.

Sunday the fish were on fire, but were small. Hot color was clear with red, gold, and black flake. Tuesday's bite was a little slow, but some bigger crappie showed up. My nephew kept 7 for dinner. Hot color was orange and white. Today was a real slow bite with flood tides. Kept 7 today. Early the hot color was orange, but then changed over to black and chartreuse.

Thanks Tear. Tried yesterday, caught a few then the ice squeezed us out. Open water at sunrise, but it didn't take long before it started forming.

Stay warm. 15 degrees this morning here. I think I'll wait till this afternoon to check some areas out. Looks like some warmer rain coming soon.
