    Default Nassawongo Creek

Last Sunday, 2/27/16 my cousin and I fished the Nassawongo Creek off the Pocomoke River and caught several nice Yellow perch and 8-10 Crappies. We caught them at the 7-8 foot mark at the channel edge right on the bottom. Used 1/16 jig yellow an red with a small yellow plastic tail tipped with small minnow. We were high and dry on a mud flat in front of Mr. Traders little pier that was not there 2 years ago. Not much trouble getting off after I got the motor up.

Yeah its really easy to get stranding high and dry in that creek. Crazy how the deep spot swings from one side to the other. Generally speaking the deep cut is always along the outer bend and swings from one side to the other as the river snakes through the woods. Nice catch!
