Default Beautiful day on the water

Launched at 10 this morning to an oil slick glass river. There were a fair number of boats on the water and some really obnoxious ones at that. Had a few ask me how I was doing and against my instincts I told them. They proceeded to set up a 100 feet away. Sorry but 100 feet is too close on a 100 mile long river. Finally managed to find a quiet place with a bunch of fish, then a couple of more spots that were loaded with active fish. Ended up with 43 crappie on the clicker and 10 in the cooler. Average size was 10 inches with a couple around 12. The fish were still near bottom but very active and willing to chase a jig. Water was 42 degrees and it was so nice to be out and be able to take off my coat. There were alot of fish "shad?" All over the river showing up on the graph.

Nice pretty colors on em , and yea soon as hunting is over and you get some nice weather you start having more people fishing fall and mid winter is good time as far as not many people around.

Very nice catch. Zippy I have had people come with in 10 feet, and cast in the same direction.

Lol, yeah i dont get that. When i go fishing its nice to be alone or with a buddy, not strangers who are talking at full volume on their phones.

Oh man thats insane. Had a guy attempting to anchor up over a rockpile that I was fishing and failing badly. His boat was at least twice the size of mine and I had to push him away with one of those boat poles (for docking etc) with the hook on the end. He disrupted my fishing for at least 10 minutes and never appologized.

I have seen guys do that to try to make you move off a good spot. I bet everyone on here has similar stories.
