    Default Hungry crappie

The crappie must of been real hungry today because they were chewing big time . We went to old reliable spot from the past ,a piece of deep water structure we havent hit for awhile . I dropped down on it and got one right away ,I was allready having some trouble with my trolling motor making it hard to stay in position so we anchored over it . That turned out to be a good move because we just stayed right there and worked on em .Name: 005.jpg

Size: 41.8 KB Guess I took that pic upside down lol its 146. We kept some til it looked like we had a good mess in the well for a fish fry turned out we kept 39. We let many big egg laden females go .Attachment 227644 G-duck and I fished from 9 til 1:30 falling tide.Sometimes they thumped it sometimes the line would just start moving sideways just lift rod and there they were .Got to cherish those kinda days they make up for the slow ones.

Lol, I was waiting for this report. I could feel that you were out there and killing them. That is great, I wonder if the cold weather the last few weeks has them really hungry? Were most cost casting or verticle?

Way to go tear. Nice bunch of fish. The ice is finally staring to break up in a couple of winter spots I fish.

Both ways prolly more vertical but after we had a bunch we started experimenting and got em casting too.

Nice work, when our ice finally gets out up here they will hopefully be hungry like that.

That makes me hungry. It sounds like you really have a honey hole of a fishing spot. Nice mess of good big ones.
