    Default June 7th Double Report

Water temps plummeted this last week and all those pesky LGMouth moved back into the main creek. And they must have swallowed a tube of glue because they just would not eat. However the Potomac Pike stayed in the grasses and did bite... somewhat. A dozen blowups and good follows yielded one small one.. Cigars where smoked and the sunset was phenomenal.

In yesterday's report you read of the temperature drop. Today's temps were two degrees higher. Boy, did that make not one bit of difference. Still muddy and windy today. We worked all the water columns in some way, shape or form. One bass blow up, one snakehead follow and the skunk off the boat in the final hour. Ribs and chicken were consumed, cigars were smoked...

Do you think the snakeheads are effecting the crappie or bass fishery there?

Yes by providing a steady food source for the crappie and bass.
