Thread: 2015 Crappie season

Well that was an interesting season.. Both Capt Dave and I caught and kept about 125 crappie each on our charters. We released about another 80 plus as some customers just wanted to C&R. The fish hit the beds this week and by the weekend will be gone.
Used and lost 15lbs of shiners due to pump failure and FEDEX shipping.
The most important figure of this late crappie season was the size. We had 39 over 14 inches and 4 over 15 inches.

Just a cane pole, bobber and hook.. but 16 at a time.
