sounds like a good day, nice report
Finally back at it for real , took my jon boat and met a buddy from work to do some crappie /perch fishing. We got into em steady at 1st dozen or so then they quit moved around got 1 or 2 more then got onto a good bunch and steady caught till noon when we quit. Got 84 crappie 6 yellow perch 1 bass and 1snagged mud shad. They wanted the jigs held just about still and 2ft off bottom ,water temp was 37 to 39.54 of the crappie were good ones with the biggest rite at 14" the biggest perch was 13" .Fin-s in chart. and smelt were good as well as old school shad dart and minnows. I usually don't even take minnows anymore but the guy who came with me brought em and we fished them on the rods in the holder and held the ones with jigs in our hands they worked about even .Felt good to go tear em up again. Now its winter wonderland again ,come on spring!

Wow that's a great report and dwarfs my last outing. I am lucky to catch one 14 inch Crappie the entire year. Happy to find some around 10-12 inch to eat, love em.
14" was the biggest prolly avg. was 10". The 54 good ones were 10 and up.I think the fillets off a 10"er fry up just rite actually better then the big ones, but I sure like to catch big ones.
