Nice catch Mike they say the snow is deep enough on the lake that the snow machines are having trouble getting around.
And as for the size of the fish it don't matter once they get in the grease lol

Mike - how thick is that ice there? You still in the same spot? If so about a mile out the river the center is wide open. I wouldn't have thought it was still thick enough in there to walk on seeing the main river towards the end of the point.

Fred I figured you would have been out today.

Ice is still thick in spots. but it's getting weaker aroundthe shoreline. That snow and rain we had put a lot of weight on it causingwater to come up out the old holes. One area I was in around an old hole therewas a lot of water on top the ice. Just for safety I waited around this morningfor someone else to show up.

Yea Mike, I agree...always good to wait on safety out there. When I came in last time I saw where someone put a leg through.

I couldn't make it, so looks like I'm done down here, but expect to hit DCL next week.
