We fished from 08:30 to 4:00. We just couldn’t find anycrappie or get any to bite till about 10:00. We only caught a total of 20, but countless yellow perch and gills. Biggest fish of the day was a 15 1/4 crappie. All fish were caught on a new type of jig and plastics I just made. I thinkI need some fishing lessons from tear em up.

    Mike,

That's a real nice crappie for the area you were fishing. I was in their yesterday and also today. Got 42 fish yesterday and 87 today. Only 3 crappie over 10" and nothing close to 15. We did get a good number of keeper yellow perch today.

    Rob,

Went out this morning for a couple of hours. Fished from the shoreline only caught 5 crappie , 10 gills, 1 bass, and 1 yellow perch. I wanted to stay till the front moved in, but lack of sleep was getting to me.

Mike - I did get this guy in the next arm over, I'm pretty sure you will recognize the background. He ate a Midsouth Glow Tube. Pretty nice fight on my 5' Mr Crappie rod.

    Rob,
I bet that carp was a fun time. I recognize that area. I wentthis morning in the wind. I only caught a couple with a few gills. Tried another spot and caught about 25 gills. Some were nice size like this one.

He wouldn't let go. It's an ice jig with micro plastic tail. Head is painted pearl and kind of spoon shaped.

That's a NICE crappie in that first picture. And I know that carp had to be alot of fun bringing to the boat. Catching is catching, so it sounds like you guys were having some fun.Thumbs Up Congrats.
