Well I finally went on ahead and bought one of those stencil kits from Cabelas to paint my boat with. It was not as easy as I was thinking it would be but I think it turned out pretty good. My boat is a 17' F&F and has the two ridges giong from front to back of the boat on the sides. That made it a real bugger of a job. You have to use double sided tape and attatch it every time you move each template. It sounds way easier than it was(for me anyways). Here are a few Pic's.

look like you have lots of patience and it paid off, good job
Nice job.
I did my 14 footer with the Reelfoot stencils several years ago. It is a painstaking process but well worth the effort.
very very nice indeed. I have been wanting to camo my 14fter but I hate projects. So the wife says that she could do it. She loves to paint. So mine will be getting done after the spring catchin is over.
looks great.
Good job slab! I used to paint my compound bows the same way back before they came already camo finished.
