The trees in my Dad's yard finally died about 5-6 years ago, I do miss fishing with them C-Worms.

    Thanks for confirming. :D

Get back out there as soon as you can. Get a long pole and a handful of jigs. Find you a stump in 1' to 5' feet of water. Lower your jig till you can't see it. Hold it still. Pull the fish out when they bite.

60* water is what a lotta folks on this site dream about. That is prime spawning temperature for crappies. They will be in very shallow water around structure. You were likely fishing too deep for them yesterday.

    Good luck.

if you have trees around with those C-WORMS now ask your local bait shops
what they will pay you for a dozen last year around here they paid $3.50 for dead and $7.00 for live C-WORMS im serious if you do any catfishing at all get you a few dozen and freeze them until you feel like going the channel and blue cats don't care they just like the smell and taste when you put them on the hook be sure to turn then inside out when hooking them though

but even if you don't wanna fish with them you have a gold mine at the bait shops
i know the were selling live ones for $14dz
is that a bite...YEAH FISH DONT HAVE HANDS
