I have a cousin who lives in AL and he has told us "stories" of how the fish will jump into the boat, but he called it "sheet" fishing:D Of course, my cousin is full of "sheet"

Well, I have to say I have enjoyed Crappie.com for a couple of years now. I enjoy reading others stories and deciphering for my self which is bs.

I think EGO gets in the way for a lot of fisherman. I take a lot of pride in my fishing. If you go to the lake and don't have a good day, don't treat me bad or hate on me if I had a good day. I am the first person to tell someone where I was catching. (minus the GPS coordinates) I like to keep people informed on my local lakes, and like to be informed on theirs.

Now, I don't know who runs the show around crappie.com but these guys know what they're talking about. Not those guys with 40 posts, but the guys with 2000. For Example, I struggled when I first got my boat and CrappiePappy told me how to find them. Vertical casting, jigging, trying things I wasn't exactly good at. But I made myself learn to do it, and learn when to do it. This website has really helped me with learning different methods.

Now here's my lie for you..................Last year I caught over 5,000 (didn't keep this many) Crappie. The largest fish I caught in 2008 was an 18" 3.3 lbs and turned it back

The best part is............I don't care who doesn't believe me. Their opinion doesn't change my love for catching crappie and it sure doesn't change the taste of them
Caught so many fish today my thumb is sore from clicking the counter.
