I saw a similar show with Roland Martin,I think those preserved baits were from a company called Timbuktu or something like that.
was wondering if any body watched it. they were catching crappie in northern fla. and using some meal worms that were preserved. but i didnt catch the name of them who made them. any one know what they were called or were to them.

These maybe?
Uncle Josh Preserved Bait - Meal Worms
not them by uncle josh. these are made by timbukto, roland martin was catching crappie on today show with the wax worms or meal worms. look like they came in a can and he said after you open them up they was good for 2 days or if put in the fridge up to 2 weeks. shelf life not open is 3 years.
I saw a show like that too. I believe this is what they were using.
Fishers Choice Canned Bait - Timbuktu
Thanks for the link. I will definitely try them. I notice they also carry freeze-dried maggots (in the bird section.) That's what I'm really interested in.
The Canned Bait on the fishing shows is Fisher's Choice Bait and is available at Fisher's Choice Bait - The Ideal Solution to Live Bait!.
