I think I have talked about my 3 pounder getting mounted from Grenada. ACtually I have one just under 3 also getting mounted. I didn't think I took any pictures, but my buddy took some I forgot about and he gave it to me yesterday. Here is that big fish from late March on Grenada at the CUSA tournament. I feel like a proud daddy with this thing.

good fish I hope I will be so fortunate one day.
You're doing somethin' right.
Great fish, I must go to Grenada next spring. Can you give details on how you caught the fish and where. Thanks.

well, to be honest, I can help, but not much. Out of 4 fishing trips to Grenada, I think only 10 fish were boated. Although, only 2 out of 10 were smaller than 14 inches. THe lake has some standing timbre----stickups the locals call them. Most locals just find their favorite trees along the drops into the chanells and verticle jig. I tightlined the whole time. 2 days before the tournament was my best day. I launched at the dam and ran to the first bit of timbre on the left. Started there and caught 5 fish, including the 3+ fish. In the tournament only 2 fish were caught and one was the other big fish. Used jigs tippped with minnows. I would use shinners for a bigger profile bait in that muddy water. That muddy water through me off more than anything. The lake is not real deep. A good droppoff in that lake is from 8-14 feet. Most of the fish were caught in 8-10 feet of water. Caught some on a plain minnow.
You don't catch many, but what you catch is awesome.
