I have 3 seperate softside bags but have many plano boxes that stay home with extras. Kinda split the soft bags up by species - 1 for bass, 1 for crappie and 1 for anything else. Also keep some small boxes for perch and for ice fishing.

    Mine are a mess!:D:o

My problem is, when I change lures, I just throw the old one anywhere it will fit. I have to clean it out and actually put stuff away 2 or 3 times each season. My kids take over all my old plastic baits.

I am fairly neat, but I take way too much tackle with me. Just wish I could bring myself to leave some of it at home.

NEAT, but only after years of taking everything (I think I did take the kitchen sink once or twice) I really simplified. A small Plano box (about 4" X 6") with a pouch of hooks in my left shirt pocket and split shot in my right shirt pocket. Oh yes, pliers tied to my chair along with a towel. Done. In all fairness, I fish pretty much the same areas so don't do any trolling, just drop minnows and jigs sometimes tipped.

For the most part neat. I have it all seperated into species boxes and carry with me what I need that day.

I have a small box for live bait crappie, a jig box for jigs, tubes and grubs. I have a few trolling cranks in the crappie box just in case. I go through mine about once every two years. It's amazing the stuff I have down in the bottom that has never been opened. I'll clean it up, open up some of the new stuff and find a place for it. This way, I have room in the bottom of the box again for the things I'll buy and not find until the next time I clean her up.

I don"t use a tackle box just a bunch of plano boxes in the boat but I try to keep them somewhat neat.
