Alabama says welcome sir.:D
Hello to all!
I'm now retired with an econo car, camping equipment, fishing gear and various airguns. I intend to make something of myself at long last! :D
Last piece of fishing gear that I bought is a Lindy Rigger X-Treme that I bought today to tame the main line and leader for a 14' Cabela telescoping pole. Started with a rod and reel when President Eisenhower was in office, and now want to try using a pole for bluegill, crappie and perch in a salmon-trout-steelhead and small mouth bass country.
'Course, I'm really a carp fisherman at heart.

Edit: If the daffadills are starting to bloom and the pond turtles are starting to sun themselves, does that mean Spring is near?

Welcome from Illinois. I like carp fishing too, but I stay away from all the specialized gear.
Welcome from the BLUEGRASS STATE. My daughter is a Pastry chef up in Portland. If you see her --tell her she needs to come home. I miss my fishin buddy!

Welcome from High Rock Lake, North Carolina. I made that retirement step in Nov 08 and positively love it....now if I can only find time to do some fishing.
