http://www.crh.noaa.gov.mpx for me on the local weather, and http://www.spc.noaa.gov for the storm prediction center. The spc site has the data and stuff for the folks who are more into the weather/meteorology science, but does have the severe weather predictions, and forecasts,too.

www.weatherunderground type in zip code then go to wunder maps. That pulls up all the personal weather stations. Find area of interest and click on the station you want. Get real time data right from the source. Most lakes have several around to check out.
The sweetest of all sounds is (Get the nets that's a 3 lb'er)
